Best Budget Earphones!!
We will start with what comes inside the box of the ZealSound HDE-300. We are first presented with the earphones of course, but once you look towards the bottom of the earphones, there was a nice cotton caring pouch. Also included there were different sized ear tips, a clip and an instruction manual as well as a 1 year warranty card.
Moving to the design, the ZealSound HDE-300 has genuine wood with sliver trims and also has a braided cable which truly applauses the design. The braded cable also has an in-line remote with a mic that sounds not to shabby at all. It also has a button which allows you to play / pause the video or music and answer / hang up phone calls. You can also hold it to activate Google Now or Siri.
In terms of comfort, I prefer to use the more smaller ear tips as they fit very nicely and they don't irritate my ears. On top of that they do a decent job at noise isolation.
Now, audio quality is exceptionally good but have very little bass, so for you crazy bass lovers out there, these are not the best earphones for you. Still keep in mind that these earphones only cost $22. Like most headphones and earphones that are housed in real wood, ZealSound also decided not to only use it for design but also for audio quality. If you didn't already know, wood helps the sound to be more rich and warm.
Overall these are a truly impressive pair of earphones. It's really surprising how ZealSound was able to add all the accessories and not sacrifice any build quality and still keep it at $22.
