Philips BT100 Review

This particular speaker is the Peach variant, however I would say it is more Cherry Blossom Pink than Peach. There is also a number of other color’s to pick from such as Blue, Black and White.

The feel of the BT100 is completely different to the BT50. The BT50 has a more sportier and more rubbery feel to it, which is better for outdoor use, unlike the BT50 the BT100 has a smooth and plastic finish to it which is better for inside or less rough use.

The BT100 also has a metal cage to protect the actual speaker. Unfortunetly, next to the cage is a gap where dirt will get stuck over time.

To the bottom of the speaker are some soft not so gripy foam pads but will get the job done.

To the front is a silver PHILIPS logo and to the left is a little LED light that is blue when bluebooth is enabled and white when AUX is enabled or when charging the speaker.

Moving to the back, there is a handsfree calls button, a charging port (that I have not use once since I got it), a switch to change to different modes like bluetooth, AUX and OFF and last of all, a AUX port.

On the side of the speaker there is a microphone for bluetooth calls.

Now how does the speaker actually sound? To me the speaker sounds great with a little bass but still having a enough clarity. The BT100 has a much louder and clearer sound than the BT50.

If you what to listen to the speaker watch the video below.
